Intricate Hand Embroidery and Wedding Embellishments
True elegance lies in the details. Explore the hand-stitched artistry of zardozi, aari work, and precise Swarovski encrustation that gives every garment its soul.
This video offers a close-up look at the soul of my craft. You can see the intricate Aari work, shimmering Swarovski stones, and detailed embroidery that adorn my velvet and silk sherwanis, turning each piece into a work of art.
About this collection
Every piece of embroidery you see here is a labor of precision. The Zardozi work on our premium sherwanis involves manually weaving metallic threads into the fabric, a process that can take weeks to complete. Unlike mass-produced patterns, this traditional hand-technique creates a unique depth and texture that catches the light differently in every wedding photograph.
My design philosophy centers on the marriage of heritage and luxury. When we work with heavy-gsm velvets and raw silks, we choose embellishments that enhance rather than overpower the fabric. This includes Aari work for delicate floral patterns and Poth work for added volume on groom sherwanis.
For the modern groom, we often mix these traditional techniques with Swarovski crystal encrustation or silver leather patches to provide a sharper, contemporary finish. If you are planning a look that balances these elements, keep in mind that hand-crafted embroidery requires longer lead times than standard designs. We recommend finalizing your design patterns at least four weeks before the event to ensure we can match the thread dyeing and motif placement perfectly with your partner’s outfit. Visit my studio in Commercial Street to see these textures in person and feel the weight of the hand-stitched details before making your decision.
