Lucknavi and Mirror Work Kurtas for Men
Classic threadwork meets subtle mirror detailing. These kurtas add a festive sheen to your ethnic wardrobe, perfect for weddings, sangeet nights, or puja events.
This video shows my Lucknavi mirror work kurtas in several bright colors like red, yellow, and orange. The mirror work is arranged in a clean geometric pattern, giving it a modern yet traditional feel.

About Lucknavi & Mirror Work Kurtas
When picking a mirror-work kurta, the back of the fabric matters most. I ensure there is a soft fusing or lining layer behind every embroidered panel, which prevents the mirror threads and foil backing from scratching or irritating your skin during long ceremonies.
Our Lucknavi-Style Collection
These kurtas are designed for events where you need to look sharp without wearing something overly heavy. The embroidery style captures the classic Lucknavi aesthetic using dense machine-work, which allows for consistent, clean patterns across the fabric. To add that festive pop, I integrate foil mirror work that catches the light without adding excessive weight to the garment.
Key Details:
- Fabric Composition: I use a Cotton-Silk or Art Silk blend as the base. This provides the necessary structure to support the dense embroidery while maintaining a slight sheen suitable for evening wear.
- Comfort: Because these are often worn for long hours, the interior is finished with a protective layer so the threadwork doesn't rub against your skin.
- Versatility: These pieces pair well with both standard churidars and jeans if you want a fusion look.
Sizing and Maintenance
I stock standard chest sizes from 36 to 44. Since these kurtas feature delicate mirror work and embroidery, dry cleaning is strongly recommended. Washing these in a machine can flatten the embossed texture and loosen the mirror settings. If you are visiting our Borivali store, you can try on the different fits yourself. If ordering online, please confirm your size before we ship.
