Your love story, your special dates, and your memories, all drawn in henna. I specialize in creating personalized mehndi that captures the moments that matter most.

A video showing the process of creating a personalized engagement mehndi, from the couple portrait on the palm to the rings and love birds on the arm.

This engagement design features the couple's initials "YK" and interlocking rings, surrounded by beautiful traditional patterns.

It takes a lot of himmat to draw with one hand and film with the other. Here I am carefully writing the couple's names into the design.

Mehndi for the groom. I can create simple yet meaningful designs for grooms, like a Ganesha motif for blessings and the bride's initial.

A special design for a baby shower, with "Welcome to the world" written on the palm and cute baby feet motifs.

About this collection

Getting your love story or initials on your hands takes patience, not speed. I do not rush through these personalized elements because a portrait or a tiny baby footprint needs fine-line precision to look right. Expect me to take my time to make sure every line and letter is clear, especially when we are integrating complex motifs like couple portraits or specific dates.

Your Story on Your Hands

When you ask for storytelling mehndi, you are not just getting henna. You are asking me to sketch a memory. For engagements, I often combine couple portraits with traditional elements like rings and dates. These designs need space. If you want a portrait, I suggest we plan for a larger canvas, like the center of the palm, so the details of the faces stay sharp.

For baby showers, I focus on softer motifs. Think baby footprints, welcome messages, or cradle patterns. These are smaller and require delicate work, so we often pair them with floral or vine borders to frame the central message.

Things to Consider

  • Details matter: If you have a specific scene or text in mind, send it to me a few days before. Fine-line work cannot be improvised on the spot if you want it perfect.
  • Placement: Initials look great on the wrist or palm, but portraits need a flatter surface. I usually recommend the palm for faces to ensure the skin is stretched and the ink sets properly.
  • Groom's Design: Mehndi is for everyone. I create subtle, meaningful designs for grooms too. We can do simple Ganesh motifs or your bride's initials to match the theme without needing a full-hand design.
  • The Finish: Remember, these intricate elements require me to sit and focus. If you are in a rush, a storytelling design might not be the best choice. This is kala, and it deserves its time.
