About this collection
When you choose a full-arm design, you are paying for the detail work that simply cannot be rushed. I do not use stencils and I do not work on a timer. Every line is drawn freehand with organic, homemade henna cones, so we need to sit comfortably for at least an hour per side to achieve the level of intricate finishing you see in these photos.
For me, mehndi is sukoon (peace). A full-arm design is a canvas, not just a quick tattoo. My process involves creating depth through a balance of bold, thick outlines and very fine 'Maheen' (intricate) filling.
My Design Philosophy
I specialize in traditional Indian motifs: peacocks, elephants, lotus flowers, and complex jali (net) patterns. These elements require a steady hand and patience. If you look closely at my work, you will see how I use the natural flow of your arm to create a design that looks continuous and balanced.
The Process & Results
- Freehand Artistry: Every curve and swirl is drawn directly onto the skin. This means the design is custom-fitted to your arm length and width.
- Organic Henna: I use my own homemade cones, which are safer and provide a deeper, darker stain than store-bought chemical cones.
- Aftercare: A beautiful design is only half the work. To get that rich, dark maroon stain, I will guide you on using the laung (clove) smoke technique after the henna dries.
Setting Expectations
If you want a design that is 'full' and 'heavy', please understand that it takes time. I don't compromise on finishing for the sake of speed. Whether it's for your own wedding or a special festival, my goal is to give you a piece of art that you will be proud to show off. If this is the kind of dedication you are looking for, let's connect.
Sushh
Mehndi is my lifeline and my peace. I don't just apply henna; I create art with my hands, whether it's for a bride or a festival. I believe in giving every design the time and attention it needs to look perfect.
