Alcohol Ink & Fluid Art Workshops
Ready to play with ink? Come create your own abstract clock and ceramic tile. No experience needed, just bring your energy and let's get creative!
My alcohol ink workshop is perfect for adults looking for a creative escape. This poster shows what you can expect: you'll learn all about the inks and techniques, and you'll make your own clock and tile.
Here I am demonstrating one of the main techniques for manipulating alcohol ink. It's a hands-on process that is both playful and focused, and I'll be right there to guide you.
This close-up shows the magic of alcohol inks as they bloom and blend on the surface. Learning to create these beautiful, organic effects is the highlight of the workshop.
About Alcohol Ink & Fluid Art
This isn't about following a strict pattern. In my studio, we focus on the flow. You’ll learn how to manipulate ink using just a straw and a bit of patience to create those dreamy ripples and gold-accented wisps. It gets a little messy, but that’s half the fun of fluid art. We provide all the professional-grade supplies, so you just show up ready to experiment.
What to Expect
Fluid art is unpredictable, and that is why I love it. During this workshop, we move away from brushes and focus on the chemistry of the medium. We use premium Ranger and Pinata quality inks that react beautifully with blending solutions and isopropyl alcohol.
The Process
We start by prepping our surfaces—the clock mechanism and the ceramic tile. Then, the fun begins. I will guide you through:
- Controlling the flow: How to use air (via straws or blow dryers) to push the ink into organic shapes.
- Layering and depth: Building up metallic and vibrant colors so they don't muddy up.
- Adding gold accents: The trick to getting that high-end, shimmer effect without overdoing it.
Why Join My Studio Session
Whether you are looking for a weekend escape or want to pick up a new hobby, this class is designed for adults of all skill levels. You will walk away with two functional art pieces: a 10-12 inch wall clock and a ceramic tile.
We host these sessions in my Jagriti Enclave studio, which offers a relaxed, intimate space perfect for focusing on your work. Everything is provided—inks, chemicals, tools, and the clock machinery—so you don't need to worry about anything but your own creativity. If you have a group or want to host this at your home, I can also travel across the NCR with all the supplies in tow.
