When I step away from the canvas, I turn to digital tools to keep my creative flow going. This collection is my space to experiment with new textures and styles.
It felt so good to paint again after a long art block. I created this digital portrait to get my creative flow back, and it was so much fun to work in a different medium.

About Digital Illustrations
I use the Bamboo Paper app to keep that authentic, hand-drawn texture in my digital work. It is not about creating perfect, vector-like lines. Instead, I focus on capturing the same grit and feel I would get with charcoal or gouache, just on a screen. This medium allows me to play with layering and compositions without the usual cleanup of a physical studio space.
Switching from physical paints to digital screens was a bit of an experiment for me, but it quickly became my go-to when I hit an art block. Digital illustrations offer a different kind of freedom. You can see in my work that I still lean heavily into the painterly aesthetic, using brushes that mimic traditional media like watercolor and heavy acrylics.
