Why I Paint

I’m Megha, and painting is how I untangle my thoughts and make sense of what’s going on inside and outside me. My original fine art paintings aren’t just pretty things for your wall - each one comes from my need to capture big ideas, from the chaos of the cosmos to the quiet moments of self-reflection.

What My Art Looks Like

• I dive deep into narrative symbolism artwork, sometimes blending stories about nature, destruction, and rebirth. You’ll spot a lot of symbolism and sometimes even trippy, cosmic themed art.
• Portraits are my playground. Don’t expect standard likenesses - I love abstract stylized portraits, especially with bold colors and blue skin tones. Strong female figures show up a lot too.
• I switch between mediums depending on what the painting wants: acrylics, oils, watercolors, gouache, poster colors. If a painting needs texture, I’ll use palette knives and layer thick strokes so you can actually feel the energy.
