Professional Floral Design Courses in Bengaluru
Step inside my studio, where we move past basic arranging to true design thinking. Whether you are building a new career or mastering a craft, this is where technique meets real-world application.
That "Aha!" moment is what I live for. This video shows students going from practice to perfection after a demonstration and one-on-one correction. My teaching method is designed to make complex techniques click.
Here, students are learning the psychology of color in a hands-on session. They are working together to understand how different color combinations evoke different emotions, a fundamental skill for any floral designer.
This is a look inside India's most premium floral curriculum. We go beyond bouquets to teach client simulations, design briefs, and constructive feedback, preparing you for the realities of a professional floral career.
"How do you know when to stop?" This is a critical question I pose to my students. Here, a student is carefully considering her next move, learning to develop a designer's eye for balance and restraint.
Being able to arrange flowers is just the start. Real design begins with your eye. This student is focused on creating a clean, all-white arrangement, learning how to see and refine her work like a professional.
At my school, I train your eye to see like a designer. This student is composing a vibrant arrangement, learning not just to copy a style but to understand the principles of color, texture, and form behind it.
A student carefully places a delicate sprig, learning the art of subtlety and balance. This is where we sharpen your design eye through structured critique and concept-based discussions.
Here, a student is learning to compose a vibrant arrangement with cascading elements. I teach my students to understand design, not just copy it, so they can develop their own unique style.
A student works with a bundle of white hydrangeas, learning that real design starts with your eye. The ability to see what works and what doesn't is a skill we cultivate through constant practice and feedback.
My classroom extends to real venues with real clients. This video shows students applying their skills on-site, moving from classroom theory to practical, hands-on experience at luxury weddings and mall installations.
About The MMDS Classroom: Your Creative Lab
Here is the reality of my classroom: we do not just teach you to arrange flowers, we force you to account for mechanics, budget, and the client’s brief. You will leave with a toolkit that includes everything from sourcing Dutch Roses to managing the pricing anxiety that stops most designers from ever launching their own brands.
Designing with Purpose
Floristry is often mistaken for a simple creative hobby. In my studio, we deconstruct that myth. We use design thinking—the same strategy used in architecture or graphic design—to solve visual problems. You learn to manipulate proportion, master color psychology, and use spatial styling to create arrangements that hold the room's attention, not just fill a corner.
The Curriculum
My courses are split into two essential halves. First, we cover the technical foundations: sculpting, advanced wiring, and how to create large-scale installations that remain stable and fresh. Second, we tackle the business side. This is where most aspiring florists fail, so I teach it explicitly: how to calculate your margins, source flowers to keep your costs down, and communicate with premium clients who expect more than just a bouquet.
A Career-Ready Environment
Theory is the baseline, but experience is the teacher. That is why our classroom extends into the real world. My residency students get hands-on experience at live weddings, corporate events, and fashion shows. You are not watching from the sidelines; you are learning how to handle on-site pressure, coordinate with vendors, and fix a design when a client changes their mind at the last minute. By the time you graduate, you have more than a certificate—you have a portfolio of work and the mental resilience to handle a career in professional design.
Meghaa Modi Design School
I founded this school because I saw too many talented people held back by a lack of real-world guidance. My approach is simple: I treat you like a colleague, not a student, walking you through the exact design logic and business decisions I use in my own professional practice.
