Grand Entrances Photography: Capture Your Dramatic Wedding Entry
Your wedding entrance is the moment everyone waits for. I specialize in catching the drama, the emotion, and the high-energy vibe as you make your way to the stage.
A spectacular entrance for the Sikh couple, complete with fog effects and traditional dancers. This is how you make a statement.
The couple's entry surrounded by cold pyro sparklers. The lighting creates a magical, celebratory atmosphere that I love to capture.
A royal entrance for the couple, flanked by attendants carrying decorative lights. This wide shot captures the grandeur of the moment.
The pure, unadulterated laughter of the bride during her entrance. This candid shot is full of life and happiness.
A collage showing the bride's solo entrance on a red carpet and her happy expression. It captures the excitement of the moment.
A video capturing the bride's entry under a beautiful phoolon ki chadar, surrounded by her family. A truly emotional and traditional moment.

About Grand Entrances
Getting that perfect entrance shot is not just about clicking, it is about timing the smoke and sparklers so they do not block your face. I coordinate with your event planner or the venue team to ensure we catch that exact second you walk in—whether it is a traditional phoolon ki chadar entry or a modern pyro-filled walk—so you get the full energy of the moment.
The grand entrance is where the wedding story kicks off. For me, it is the most critical few minutes of the event because you cannot repeat this moment.
The Technical Side
When I am shooting an entrance, I switch to lenses that handle low-light and high-movement well. Whether you are walking through a fog of cold-pyro or a traditional entryway, I position my team to avoid the common mistake of 'over-lighting' the background while leaving your face in the dark. We use portable LED panels and umbrella flashes to keep you well-lit while preserving the ambient drama of the decor.
Handling the Crowd
Entrances are chaotic. Relatives want to record on their phones, guests crowd the aisle, and the rhythm of the music can change in seconds. My job is to maintain a clear line of sight. I often work with the event management team beforehand to know exactly where you will pause, where the heavy confetti drops, or where the dancers will clear the path.
Personalizing the Style
Every couple has a different vibe. Some want a slow, emotional walk-in under a phoolon ki chadar, while others want a high-energy dance entry. I adapt my direction based on this. If you are entering to a fast-paced Bollywood track, I will prioritize wide-angle shots to capture the crowd's reaction. If it is a solemn or romantic walk, I focus on the expression between you and your partner. You get these high-res, color-corrected images in your final delivery, along with cinematic teasers that feature the audio of the entrance itself.
Ashish Bharti Gupta
Hi, I'm Ashish. For me, the entrance is where the wedding story really starts. I have learned that the best shots come when you are not worried about the camera, just focused on walking towards your life partner. My job is to be there, steady and ready, to freeze that energy before the rituals begin.
