Authentic Couple Portraits in Delhi NCR
Your wedding day flies by, but these portraits are the memories you'll keep forever. I focus on capturing your real chemistry, away from the stiff poses and bright lights.
An intimate moment between the Sikh bride and groom against a wall of red flowers. This is the kind of quiet, romantic shot that tells a powerful story.
A classic, romantic pose on the reception stage. The groom's gentle kiss on the bride's forehead is a timeless expression of love.
The Varmala ceremony is full of emotion. I captured this moment of the couple looking at each other, with the grand red and gold decor creating a royal backdrop.
A happy, classic portrait of the couple after their Varmala ceremony. Their smiles show the joy of the moment, a perfect memory to be framed.
A candid over-the-shoulder shot during the wedding ceremony. The bride's loving gaze towards her groom is what makes this photo so special.
I love playing with different editing styles. This black and white portrait of the Sikh couple creates a dramatic and timeless feel, focusing purely on their presence and the grand decor.
A creative edit of a happy couple portrait. The torn paper effect adds a modern, artistic touch to a classic wedding photo.
The height of the Varmala fun. The bride playfully puts the garland on the groom amidst a shower of petals, a moment of pure joy and celebration.
A close-up, candid moment during a conversation. The bride's soft smile as she looks at her partner is a beautiful, unposed memory.
A black and white shot capturing the couple in a quiet moment. The groom is slightly out of focus in the background, drawing all attention to the bride's elegant profile.
About Couple Portraits
Most couples worry about looking stiff in front of the lens, but honestly, the best photos happen when you stop trying to 'pose.' I focus on keeping things light and unforced—whether it's a quiet moment during the pheras or a fun laugh after the varmala. You don't need to be a model; you just need to be yourselves, and I will handle the angles and lighting to make it look perfect.
Finding Your Comfort Zone
Photography shouldn't feel like a chore. On your wedding day, there is already enough to worry about, so my job is to make sure the couple portrait session is the easiest part of your schedule. Whether we are at a luxury venue in Delhi or a quiet spot in Kirti Nagar, I guide you into poses that feel natural rather than staged. If you are laughing, I catch the laughter. If you are having a quiet moment, I let that breathe.
My Approach to Portraits
- Mix of Styles: I provide a mix of classic, frame-worthy portraits that your parents will love, and candid, documentary-style shots that show your real personality.
- Lighting & Mood: I play with light—from the soft morning glow during pre-wedding shoots to the dramatic stage lighting at your reception. I often include black and white edits when I want to focus purely on your emotions without the distraction of colour.
- Flexibility: I know wedding timelines are unpredictable. If the ceremony runs late or the crowd gets busy, I am patient. We will get the shot when the moment is right.
Planning Your Shoot
We don't need hours to get great results. Even 15 minutes of dedicated time during your functions is enough for me to capture 5-10 stunning portraits. During our planning call, let's discuss if you prefer grand, backdrop-heavy shots or intimate, close-up captures. Both tell a story, and I’m here to make sure yours looks like you.
Ashish Bharti Gupta
Hi, main Ashish. For me, these portraits are about capturing who you really are, not just how you look. I prefer keeping things natural and light-hearted so that years from now, you don't just see a picture, you remember exactly how you felt in that moment.
