Baby Milestones & Candid Portraits
Forget forced smiles and studio props. I believe the best portraits happen when kids are simply being themselves, letting their true personalities shine through in every frame.
Celebrating a half-birthday is a wonderful milestone. This little legend's smile shows just how much fun we have during these special baby photoshoots.
Nothing you wear is more important than your smile. This baby's joyful expression is the centerpiece of this simple and sweet indoor portrait.
A baby's smile can make a house shine without the sun. This close-up portrait captures the pure, heart-melting happiness of a baby in a cute pom-pom hat.

Innocence is a kind of insanity. This candid shot of a toddler sticking his tongue out at a party is a perfect example of capturing a child's fun and quirky personality.
All work and no play makes for a dull day. This outdoor shot captures a toddler's curiosity and engagement while playing with a ball.
About this collection
I intentionally set aside 2 to 3 hours for every baby session. This isn't because we need that much time for the actual clicking, but because kids need space to warm up and get comfortable. When you see a relaxed, natural expression in my work, it is because we spent the first part of the session just playing, rather than rushing to force a pose.
My Approach to Baby Photography
Childhood is fleeting, and I believe it should be captured exactly as it is—messy, loud, and full of wonder. My style moves away from the traditional studio setup where kids are often restricted by outfits or background props. Instead, I focus on the connection between your child and their environment, whether that is the comfort of your own living room or a quiet corner in a park like Lalbagh.
What to Expect
When we plan a session, we aren't just scheduling a photoshoot; we are making time to document your family's dynamic. I offer 2 to 3 hours of session time to ensure no one feels pressured. My process includes:
- Zero Forced Posing: I don't ask kids to smile at the camera. I create scenarios where they are busy with their toys or interacting with you, so the smiles happen naturally.
- Wardrobe Guidance: We discuss outfits during our pre-shoot call to ensure colors complement the setting without distracting from the main subject.
- Natural Light Focus: I prefer shooting in natural light to keep the tones soft and realistic.
Deliverables and Logistics
I deliver 25 to 30 high-resolution images per session. These are professionally color-corrected and retouched to remove distractions while keeping the skin texture real. You can expect your digital gallery via cloud link within 10 to 14 days. If you are worried about your child being shy, rest assured—my experience in capturing over 1000 shoots has taught me that a little patience is the only equipment required to get the perfect shot.
Mayur Chandranee
I’m Mayur, and after eight years in a tech job, I chose to trade corporate spreadsheets for capturing life’s real moments. My daughter, Aashvi, taught me that kids don't need fancy setups to be magic; they just need a little space to be themselves. I simply show up with my camera to help you freeze those fleeting, beautiful milestones.
