Walking the runway at Prime Fashion Week allowed us to demonstrate that traditional silk does not have to be static. Our goal was to push the boundaries of how a classic Kanchipuram or Banarasi drape can move, flow, and capture attention. We paired these heavy, traditional weaves with distinct jewelry and contemporary blouse cuts to show that heritage is versatile.
