Professional Tennis Coaching Drills for Competitive Players
High-intensity training focused on results. We use real clay courts and technical drills to move your game from the practice baseline to match-winning performance.
Here is 10-year-old Zayne working on his forehand and backhand consistency. You can hear the direct feedback I provide to ensure correct technique and footwork. "Shabash!"
"Snap! Excellent. Your snap, go back." This video captures a live coaching moment, focusing on explosive wrist action for more powerful shots during a volley drill at the net.
"Roll! Carry it. Shabash." A coaching session focused on generating topspin on the forehand. We emphasize rolling the racket over the ball to create heavy, difficult-to-return shots.
"Get on toes. Good one. Position. Center." This is a glimpse into a high-intensity rally drill, where I constantly remind the player about footwork, positioning, and shot execution.
"Chalo dimag lagao!" (Come on, use your brain!). A typical match-play situation during practice where I push my players to think tactically and not just hit the ball.
Using the ball machine for high-volume repetition. This drill helps our players groove their strokes and build muscle memory for consistent performance under pressure.
A personal coaching session using a feed master to work on a player's swing path and contact point. This kind of specialized equipment helps us fine-tune technique.
About this collection
We do not just hit balls for the sake of it. Our technique sessions utilize specific tools like basket feeding and ball machines to isolate and correct your grip, stance, and swing path. Whether you are struggling with your serve mechanics or footwork on clay, you will get immediate, direct feedback on every shot.
The foundation of our training is discipline. We do not focus on volume; we focus on precision. Every drill is designed to build muscle memory that holds up when you are down a set in an AITA tournament.
Technical Breakdown
- Groundstrokes: We work on your forehand and backhand mechanics, emphasizing the snap and carry-through. You will learn to generate topspin that makes your shots heavy and difficult to handle.
- Serve & Volley: Service rhythm is crucial. We break down the ball toss and body extension to ensure you are hitting with power and consistency, not just speed.
- Court Positioning: Tennis is a game of geometry. We run high-intensity movement drills to teach you where to be, how to recover to the center, and when to attack.
The Surface Matters
We utilize clay courts at our Pitampura facility specifically for stamina and patience. Clay forces you to construct points rather than relying solely on brute force. If you can dominate on clay, your game on hard courts becomes significantly more dangerous.
Competition Simulation
Our drills simulate real match pressure. We use feed masters and ball machines to force you into awkward positions, training you to think tactically—chalo dimag lagao—even when you are physically exhausted.
