About Festival & Large Scale Events
Stepping onto a festival stage is a different beast than playing a club booth. When I play for large crowds, it is about reading the energy of hundreds of people and guiding them through a proper audio journey. Whether it is a multi-day festival lineup or a massive New Year’s Eve set, I adjust my sound to keep the dance floor moving and the intensity high.
Scaling up to a festival environment requires more than just knowing tracks. It demands technical precision and the ability to hold a crowd's attention across longer durations. My sets for events like the Bangalore Spirit Festival or my own Soul Fest pop-ups are built on high-energy melodic techno and progressive house, designed to bridge the gap between the DJ and the audience.
When you bring me on board for a large-scale event, we focus on the musical arc. I do not play commercial Top 40 or Bollywood because that is not my sound. My focus is entirely on the underground electronic space. I work closely with event organizers to ensure the setup, from the Pioneer CDJ consoles to the monitor placements, meets the industry standards needed to deliver a crisp, driving sound that reaches the back of the crowd.
Having performed at venues like The Ritz-Carlton for Arcadia and various beach clubs in Goa, I understand the logistics involved in traveling for gigs and managing sound checks for large systems.
