Festive and Themed Makeup Looks
From holiday-ready glam to conceptual festive themes, I create looks that capture the perfect vibe for your next photoshoot.
A fun, festive reel from our Christmas-themed shoot. The makeup features a classic red lip and shimmery gold eyes, a timeless holiday look that is both glamorous and cheerful.
A full shot from the Christmas series. The model is wearing a classic red dress, and I designed the makeup to match, with a bold red lip and sparkling eyes that pop against the festive red background.

About Seasonal & Themed Shoots
For festive shoots, lighting is everything. I prioritize flash-friendly base makeup that doesn't wash you out, paired with long-wear lipstick that stays vibrant even through multiple outfit changes during a session.
When we prep for a themed shoot, the base needs to be robust enough to handle high-resolution photography while looking natural in person. I rely on premium products from brands like Nars and Estee Lauder because, in a studio environment, standard foundations can often turn gray or flat under a flash.
My Approach to Themed Shoots
Planning is the secret ingredient for a successful conceptual look. Whether you want a subtle, dewy glow for a holiday family portrait or a dramatic, bold look with cut-crease and glitter accents for a fashion editorial, the technique changes entirely.
- Standard Looks: Perfect for corporate headshots, lookbooks, or e-commerce where the focus is on clean, HD-ready skin.
- Creative Looks: This is where we play with avant-garde styles, graphic liners, rhinestones, and bold textures. These are designed to make an impact on camera.
Why Skin Prep Matters
If you want that 'lit from within' look, we start with a thorough skin prep ritual. Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing properly ensures the makeup sits like a second skin, not a mask. This is especially important for long shoots where you might be under hot studio lights for hours.
Collaboration is Key
Every shoot is a joint effort. I work closely with your photographer to understand the lighting setup and color palette. If you have a specific mood board in mind, share it before the shoot so we can plan the look. I also provide standby support for sweat control and lipstick touch-ups, so you can focus entirely on your posing and performance.
