I believe a coach should lead by example. These clips show my approach to T20 cricket, covering everything from spin bowling variations to match-winning batting.

I don't just coach, I still live the game. This is a mini vlog from a recent match where I contributed with both bat and ball, taking three wickets and hitting the winning runs, which earned me the Man of the Match award. I believe in leading by example.

A moment from a night match, getting ready to go in to bat. For me, cricket is like a drug; once you fall in love with it, you can never truly leave the game.

Getting padded up and ready for my turn to bat during a night game. The focus is always on staying prepared and making an impact when the opportunity comes.

A short clip from a night match where I explain the variations of off spin bowling. I discuss how wrist position can change the drift and bounce of the ball, including the arm ball, to deceive the batsman.

A clean shot played during a night match. Executing a good cricket shot is about timing, balance, and finding the gap in the field.

Playing an innovative scoop shot, similar to what you see from players like Suryakumar Yadav. It's important to have a 360 degree game in modern cricket.

A classic pull shot, a favorite of great players like Ricky Ponting and Rohit Sharma. This shot is a powerful weapon against short pitched bowling.

Power hitting during the final overs of a match. The goal is to stay at the crease and keep scoring runs for the team until the very end.

A helicopter shot played during a match, a style made famous by MS Dhoni. It's a great way to generate power and find the boundary in the death overs.

A classic cover drive, often called the king of all cricket shots. This shot is all about timing, balance, and grace, a hallmark of players like Virat Kohli.

About Match Day Action

I play alongside you, not just from the sidelines. Whether it is reading the spin on a dry wicket or knowing exactly when to go for a scoop shot, these match situations are what I break down in our 1-on-1 sessions. If you watch how I set up a batsman, that is the tactical mindset we will build for your own game.

Watching high-level match footage is the quickest way to learn game awareness. When I play these corporate and club matches, I am not just hitting boundaries. I am testing the theories I teach.

Why match experience matters for your training:

  • Adapting to conditions: You will see me adjust my line and length based on whether the pitch is offering turn or if the sun has hardened the surface. In our sessions at the DAV Nizamuddin East nets, we replicate these conditions so you are not just batting in a vacuum.
  • Tactical Shot Selection: Innovation is great, but execution is better. My scoop shots or pull shots are not just for show. I teach you the balance, head position, and grip required to play them safely and effectively.
  • Mental Toughness: A coach needs to stay calm under pressure. Whether I am chasing runs in the death overs or bowling the final over, I focus on the basics. I teach you to block out the noise and trust your technique.

What you get from my coaching: If you book a 1-on-1 session, we do not just hit balls. We pick a scenario, like needing 10 runs off the last over, and we play it out. I show you how to read the bowler's wrist, how to adjust your stance for different lengths, and how to stay positive even when the pressure is high. You are not learning from a textbook. You are learning from a former Ranji player who is still active in the middle.

I have played at the top level and I still love being in the middle of a match. Coaching is not about telling you what to do, it is about showing you how it is done so you can pick it up yourself. Come train with me and let's get your basics right.
