Choosing a bat is not about the biggest sticker, it is about the balance. If you are playing on typical Indian wickets with low bounce, you need a bat with a mid-to-low sweet spot and a slightly heavier toe for that extra punch. I always tell my students: test the willow personally, feel the pickup, and ensure the weight distribution matches your natural backlift before you commit to buying.
