I do not just hit play on a pre-recorded list. I work with the room, reading the crowd to mix live mashups on the fly. Since I bring my own Pioneer controller but rely on your venue’s sound system, let us chat about your setup beforehand to make sure we have exactly what is needed for that booming sound.
Whether you are planning a birthday rager, a corporate blowout, or a beach festival in Goa, my goal is the same: keeping the energy peaking. I specialize in open-format sets that span Commercial Pop, Old School Hip-Hop, and R&B, but I do not treat them like a static playlist. I am behind the booth dancing, MCing, and live-mixing tracks. If a crowd is feeling 90s hip-hop, I lean into it; if they need a Y2K pop anthem to scream to, I switch gears instantly.
What to expect
- Active Hosting: I am not standing quietly in the corner. I use the mic to hype the crowd, announce tracks, and make sure the vibe does not dip.
- Live Mashups: I craft edits on the spot. If you have a specific era in mind—like a full Y2K or 80s retro night—I prepare the soundscape specifically for that aesthetic.
- Tech Reliability: I am trained at The Music School and use professional Pioneer gear with redundant backups. There are no dead silences, ever.
Practical Logistics
I arrive 45 minutes early for sound checks. While I bring my own controller and laptop, I do need you to arrange the venue’s PA system and a sturdy booth with a reliable power supply. If you are hosting at a venue in Bangalore, I likely know the setup, but if we are hitting a new location, a quick call to align on audio requirements saves everyone stress on the big night.
