Behind the Scenes: My Bridal Makeup Process
Getting ready is a huge part of your wedding day. Here is a look at how I prep, layer, and style to ensure your makeup feels like you, just polished and perfect for the cameras.
Applying airbrush makeup to create a seamless and lightweight foundation. This technique is fantastic for achieving a flawless finish that looks amazing on camera.

The final touch. Applying lipstick with a brush ensures a precise and perfect application for a long lasting, beautiful pout.

My team and I work together to perfect the hair and makeup, ensuring every strand is in place for a polished final look.
Applying a touch of blush to bring a healthy, natural flush to the cheeks. This is a key step for a radiant reception look.
The art of saree draping. I ensure every pleat is perfect, creating a graceful and elegant silhouette for the bride.
My team and I assist with every detail, including draping the saree and securing the jewellery, so the bride can relax and enjoy her day.
About The Transformation: Behind the Scenes
Getting the right look is not just about the final application. I start every session with a full skin prep using professional hydration products to ensure your makeup does not crack or flake, even under harsh stage lights or during long rituals. It is a step I never skip, because a smooth base is the real secret to makeup that stays flawless from the first photo to the final farewell.
More than just makeup application
When you see the final photos, you see the glam. But the real magic happens in that hour of prep. My process starts with a full CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine using high-grade professional products. I believe your skin needs to be healthy to handle a full day of makeup, whether it is for a traditional muhurtham or a modern reception.
Airbrush vs. HD
I use both airbrush and HD liquid foundations like Mac and Nars. If you are worried about humidity or outdoor shoots in Bengaluru, I often recommend airbrush. It is lightweight, sweat-resistant, and essentially invisible on camera. For indoor stage events with heavy lighting, we build up with HD techniques to ensure you look contoured and defined without ever looking heavy or cakey.
The finishing touches
Makeup is only half the story. My team and I handle the hair architecture, from traditional floral braids with fresh Poola Jada to structured Hollywood waves. We also focus on intricate draping. I do not just pin a saree; I use box-folding techniques to make sure your Kanjeevaram pleats stay crisp and secure for hours. It is about making you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to enjoy your wedding without constantly checking a mirror.
