Why Colour Coordination Matters

For a pastel saree, I often use soft pinks, lilacs, or peaches to maintain that fresh, airy aesthetic. If you are wearing a bright, bold colour, I shift to richer tones that stand up to the intensity of the silk. The goal is to avoid a generic 'bridal' mask. • Base Work: I avoid heavy, caked-on foundation. Instead, I prep the skin with high-end serums and colour correctors. This keeps your skin looking like skin, even under harsh stage lights or broad daylight.
• Feature Highlighting: With vibrant sarees, I often focus on one feature. If the saree is very bright, I might keep the eyes soft and go for a defined lip. If the saree is a muted pastel, I can play with a bit more shimmer on the eyes to add dimension.
