About South Indian Bridal Traditions

South Indian bridal makeup requires a very specific approach to balance the richness of temple jewelry with the skin finish. We focus on creating a sweat-resistant base that stays perfect through long ceremonies like the Muhurtham or Pheras. A huge part of my process is 'hair architecture'—building a secure, padded base to hold heavy Jada billai or fresh flower gajras in place for hours without slipping.
