During a candid shot, you don't want to worry about your face feeling heavy or tight. My focus is on layering skin-friendly products that breathe, so even when you are laughing or dancing, your base stays flexible and comfortable without settling into fine lines.
Candid wedding photography captures the raw, unfiltered you. That is why I do not believe in heavy, mask-like foundation. Whether it is a quiet exchange of vows or a burst of laughter during a Sangeet, my soft glam technique is designed to be camera-ready without looking painted on.
I use a spot-concealing method, where we treat only the areas that need it, and high-definition liquid foundations that mimic the texture of your real skin. This is particularly important for high-resolution cameras that pick up every detail. For destination events like those I have done in Coorg, the climate can vary; I adapt my humidity-resistant setting sprays to ensure the makeup holds up from the morning ritual to the evening reception.
It is not just about applying makeup; it is about preparing your skin to look radiant under natural and artificial light. I often recommend specific skincare steps in the week leading up to your big day to ensure that natural glow shines through, not just the highlighter.
