About Engagement & Cocktail Glam
Getting that engagement or cocktail look right isn't about covering up. It's about balance. I don’t believe in masking your natural skin texture, especially for those close-up photos. Whether we’re doing a sultry smokey eye or a soft, shimmery glam, my focus is keeping the base lightweight and breathable, so you feel like yourself, just a more polished version.
When I work on cocktail or engagement looks, I always focus on the lighting. A look that shines at a day event might look flat at a night party, so we adjust accordingly. My goal is to strike that balance between drama and elegance. For the eyes, I often follow the 70/30 rule—70% shimmer and 30% matte. If it is 50/50, it bahut hi made up lagta hai (looks too done up), and I prefer keeping things refined.
My approach is about enhancing your features rather than hiding them under layers of product. Whether you prefer a bold cut crease with rhinestones or a soft, old-money style glow, we will build it together at my Faridabad studio. I walk you through the process, from color-correcting dark circles to those tiny details like a little extra mascara on the outer lower lashes, which really opens up the eyes. You will walk out ready for the camera, without that heavy, cakey feeling. If you are curious about my kit, I rely on high-end products like Charlotte Tilbury and NARS to ensure your makeup lasts through every dance and photo session.
