About Engagement & Cocktail Glam
When prepping for your cocktail or engagement, we usually focus on durability because the dancing doesn't stop. I prioritize a base that holds up under bright party lights and camera flashes, using techniques that ensure your makeup stays fresh, non-cakey, and comfortable from the first ring ceremony to the last dance on the floor.
Whether you want a dreamy, romantic vibe for your engagement or a sharp, bold look for a cocktail party, your makeup needs to reflect your mood. I don't believe in heavy, mask-like layers. Instead, I focus on skin prep that lets your natural texture show through while still hiding what needs to be hidden.
For engagement looks, I often lean towards soft, peach, or rose-gold tones that catch the light beautifully. If it is a cocktail event, that is where we can get creative with smokey eyes, cut-crease detailing, or high-pigment glitters that stand out in evening light.
One question I always get: 'Will it last?' My process involves advanced hydration and long-wear base products. For my clients in Delhi NCR, I keep the weather in mind, whether it is the humid summer or the dry winter. We finish with a locking spray that protects your look through the evening.
If you are worried about your skin tone, don't be. My specialty is working with deep and dusky skin tones, ensuring we find the right undertone match without the dreaded white cast.
