My cocktail glam starts long before the brush touches your face. I dedicate twenty minutes to luxury skin prep using high-end serums and creams so that your foundation sits in your skin, not on top. This is the secret to that luminous, lit-from-within glow that stays fresh through hours of celebration without looking heavy.
For evening events, the goal is often a balance between drama and radiance. My approach to cocktail and party makeup is rooted in 'skin architecture.' I use an under-painting technique where contour is applied before foundation, resulting in a chiseled look that appears natural in person but sharp in photographs.
How I Ensure Longevity
I know that evening events mean long hours, dancing, and endless photos. To combat humidity and wear, I use a bulletproof setting routine that includes Urban Decay All Nighter sandwiched between cream and powder layers. This ensures your look remains flawless regardless of the venue temperature or the duration of the event.
My Evening Style
I lean into 'Signature Understated Glam.' Whether you want soft, smokey eyes or a classic winged liner, I focus on balance. If the eyes are bold, we keep the skin radiant and fresh. I also provide full body shimmer for collarbones and shoulders to catch the light, which is essential if you are wearing an open-neck cocktail gown or a couture lehenga.
