Creative & SFX Makeup Services
From cinematic SFX wounds and realistic textures to elaborate fantasy goddess transformations, I bring unique concepts to life through makeup art.
A powerful transformation into Goddess Kali. This look required detailed body painting, intense eye makeup, and prosthetic elements to create a fierce and authentic representation.
A full-body depiction of a goddess look, complete with traditional attire, elaborate crown, and dramatic makeup. This is a sample of the fantasy looks we teach in our advanced course.
A behind-the-scenes look at creating a realistic wound effect using SFX makeup techniques. I use professional-grade materials like liquid latex and stage blood for these projects.
A fantasy makeup look inspired by a mythical bird. This involved airbrushing, intricate feather eyelash application, and blending vibrant colors for a truly unique result.
A close-up of the goddess makeup, showing the wide-eyed, dramatic expression created with makeup. This type of character work is one of my passions.
Another pose from the goddess photoshoot. The makeup is designed to be impactful from a distance and detailed up close, perfect for stage or performance.
A serene yet powerful expression of the goddess. The closed-eye shot highlights the intricate blending of the eyeshadow and the precise linework on the forehead.
About this collection
When you're booking creative or SFX makeup for a shoot or a film project, please share your reference mood board at least a week early. I use professional-grade liquid latex and theatrical-grade products, but I need to test your skin's sensitivity to these adhesives beforehand so we can keep things safe. Okay na?
Creative makeup is where I really get to push the boundaries of my craft. It is not just about applying products; it is about engineering a look that holds up under studio lights, movement, and camera angles. Whether it is a fantasy look inspired by nature—like my peacock-themed makeup—or intense character work like a Goddess look, the technique is vastly different from standard beauty makeup.
Why Technique Matters
For SFX makeup, precision is non-negotiable. If you need a realistic wound, a deep gash, or specific skin textures for a film or photography project, I work with high-quality stage blood, scar wax, and liquid latex. This is what I teach in my advanced courses—why specific products react differently on skin and how to blend them so they look real, not fake. Gotaitha? (Understood?).
My Approach to Creative Projects
- Consultation: I don't just 'do' the look. I want to know the story behind your character. If it’s a Devi look for a festival or a fantasy character for a show, we plan the headgear, the colors, and the intensity together.
- Studio & Location: I am based in T. Dasarahalli, Bengaluru, but I am available to travel to your set or studio for shoots across the city.
- Hygiene: Even with prosthetic or heavy body painting, I am extremely fussy about brush hygiene and sanitized hands. Your skin is the canvas, and we must treat it with respect.
If you are a student or a fellow artist looking to master these skills, my academy courses cover these exact techniques from the ground up. You don't need prior knowledge, just a passion to learn.
