About Fashion & Lookbook Shoots
When I am on set for a lookbook, I don't just apply makeup and leave. I stay at the monitor to fix flyaways, manage skin shine, and adjust lip or eye intensity between shots to keep your raw footage clean and edit-ready.
Commercial photography is a team effort. My role is to ensure the makeup holds up under studio strobes and harsh daylight while staying true to the photographer's creative vision. I focus on skin preparation using hydration masks and oils that keep the base looking fresh for hours, minimizing the need for heavy post-production retouching.
My Approach to Commercial Shoots
- Pre-Shoot Collaboration: I take time to understand your brand's mood board, whether you need a 'no-makeup' editorial look for a lifestyle campaign or bold, artistic styles for a fashion runway lookbook.
- Technical Precision: My kit is built for HD camera work. I use HD foundation and detailed skin prep to ensure textures look real, not caked on, even in close-up shots.
- On-Set Reliability: I am comfortable working in high-pressure environments. I provide continuous touch-ups to handle sweat, grease, or wardrobe changes, allowing the photographer to focus entirely on the lighting and composition.
Whether we are working on a minimalist lookbook in a Mumbai studio or an outdoor campaign, my goal is to make the production easier. I bring my professional lighting kit and director's chair to every shoot, ensuring we have a functional station regardless of the location.
