About Smart Hacks & Budget Finds
You don't need a vanity full of expensive, half-used products to create a stunning look. In my classes, we start by actually going through your existing makeup bag—tossing out what’s expired and finding new ways to use what you already have. My goal is to make you a pro at using the tools already in your kit, whether that is a simple powder puff for a full-face blend or a basic drugstore lip tint, rather than pushing you to spend on brands you do not really need.
Rethinking Your Vanity
Most people have a drawer full of makeup they bought on impulse and rarely touch. During our sessions, we focus on decluttering that space. It is about understanding what your skin actually needs versus what marketing tells you to buy. I teach you how to spot a genuine 'dupe'—an affordable alternative that works just as well as the luxury version—so you can save your money for the products that really matter.
My Go-To Hacks
I am a big believer in multitasking products. One of my favourite tricks involves using a simple bottle of glycolic acid toner for everything from sun tan removal and cracked heels to even calming scalp buildup. It is effective, cheap, and saves you from buying five different specialized bottles.
Another technique I love is using a standard powder puff for your entire face. It does not soak up expensive foundation like a beauty blender does, and it works beautifully for both cream blush and setting your under-eye area. It is a quick, easy, and incredibly efficient way to apply makeup, especially when you are in a rush for work.
Why I Teach This
Whether it is figuring out how to contour your collarbones for an evening look or finding a nude lipstick that doesn't wash you out, I want you to feel confident. Makeup should be about enhancing your features, not hiding behind a mask. If you have been struggling with cakey bases or eyeliner that smudges, we will fix those techniques using the products you already own. Let’s make your morning routine feel like a breeze.
