About My Makeup Academy: Student Work & Classes
Learning makeup is about much more than just the theory. In my academy, we focus heavily on the 'portfolio day'—where students take full control of a shoot, from selecting the right saree and jewellery to perfecting the base and hair styling. It is the best way to see exactly what you will be capable of creating by the time you graduate from my course.
My approach to teaching at the Madhushree Makeup Academy is strictly hands-on. I believe that practice on real faces is what truly sets a beginner apart from a professional artist. Whether you are aiming to master HD makeup, Temptu airbrush techniques, or the intricacies of traditional bridal looks, my curriculum is designed to make you industry-ready.
What You Will Learn
In my pro batches, we cover the essential pillars of professional artistry:
- Skin Analysis: Learning to identify undertones and match bases, especially for dusky skin tones. This is a core focus of my teaching.
- Technique Mastery: You will get hands-on experience with HD foundations, airbrush machines, and long-wear product application that survives hours of events.
- Draping and Styling: Makeup is only half the picture. I teach my students to style sarees—from Kanjeevaram pleating to intricate saree drapes—and handle hair styling, ensuring you can offer a complete bridal service.
