My Makeup Journey and Teaching Philosophy
Makeup isn't just my job—it's how I show that you can build something beautiful from nothing. This is the story behind my studio and why I pour my heart into teaching.
This is what I live for. This video is a montage of me working on different clients, creating everything from modern glam to traditional bridal looks. It's about turning beauty into art, one face at a time.
A quick selfie video capturing a moment of my day. Behind all the classes and makeovers, I always find time for myself and to connect with my audience.
Remember how far you have come, not just how far you have to go. This video is a personal reflection, showing me at work and in quiet moments, feeling grateful for the journey and the life I have built.
About this collection
You might see my finished looks on Instagram, but in my classes, we start with the essential stuff. We always begin with a deep skin analysis to see what your face actually needs, not just what is trending. Before we even touch a brush, we figure out your specific skin type, because if the base isn't right, nothing else matters—romba mukkiyam, as I always tell my students.
People ask me why I teach. It is not just to show you how to apply foundation. When I was starting out, I did not have anyone to tell me the truth about products or the business side of being a makeup artist. I had to learn the hard way. That is why in my academy in Frazer Town, I practice 'zero gatekeeping'.
My Teaching Philosophy
- No Shortcuts: We do not skip the basics. Whether it is color wheel theory or face sculpting, you need to understand the 'why' before you do the 'how'.
- Real Talk: We talk about the reality of running a beauty business in Bengaluru. I will tell you which products are worth your money and which ones are just hype.
- Every Skin Tone Matters: I have a special focus on makeup for dusky skin tones because everyone deserves to glow, not look grey.
I want to create a community where we support each other. Whether you are a total beginner looking for a self-grooming workshop or a pro artist wanting to master airbrushing, you are getting the same honest, hands-on training I wish I had when I started. If I can do it, you can too—gottayitu?
G Suhasini
I am Suhasini, and I built this studio from scratch. When I teach, I don't just show you how to blend—I show you how to stand on your own two feet, because I know exactly what it takes to start with nothing.
