About My Signature South Indian Bridal Looks
I don’t believe in masking your face. Before we even touch a brush, I’ll prep your skin to handle the long Muhurtham rituals—sometimes that’s just a simple ice-rub to calm the skin and keep the glow fresh under heavy lights. My focus is balancing your heavy temple jewellery with makeup that complements, not competes, so you look regal, not overdone.
For a traditional South Indian bride, the challenge is often keeping the look fresh through long ceremonies like the Homam. I use HD long-wear application that is sweat-proof but still lets your skin breathe. I’ve seen so many brides worry that heavy temple jewellery will overshadow their features, but it’s actually about balance. I tailor the eye makeup and lip shades to work with your Kanjeevaram’s specific colours and your skin’s natural undertones.
Whether you have a dusky complexion or a fair one, I’m passionate about skipping the 'white-washing' look. We’ll do a proper consultation to talk about your skin type, your dream look, and any specific concerns. You’ll also get professional-grade hair styling—whether it’s a traditional braid with fresh jasmine flowers or a sleek, structured bun. I also handle the heavy saree draping to ensure you look poised from the first ritual to the final photo.
My goal is to make sure that when you look in the mirror, you don't just see a bride—you see yourself, ready for your big moment.
