Before we start, I always insist on a trial session. Whether you are prepping for a wedding or learning self-grooming at my Banashankari studio, the goal is the same: makeup that feels like a second skin. If you have had bad experiences with cakey or grey-looking foundation in the past, we will focus on tone-correcting techniques that keep your skin looking fresh and radiant.
Since 2014, my focus has been on removing the mask approach to makeup. My bridal work, from traditional South Indian Muhurthams to modern reception glams, uses techniques designed to let your natural skin breathe. We avoid heavy, cakey layering that can make you look grey under lights. Instead, I prioritize skin prep and accurate colour correction to ensure the makeup looks as fresh at the end of the night as it did at the start.
If you are here for learning, my studio in Banashankari 3rd Stage is where it happens. I run everything from intensive 1-on-1 professional artistry courses for aspiring makeup artists to casual group workshops on saree draping and self-grooming. We do not just talk theory; you practice on real models, learning how to handle everything from intricate 5-strand braids to the perfect Can-Can drape for your lehenga.
