Fluid art, or acrylic pouring, is as unpredictable and fun as it gets. You layer colors into a cup and flip it onto the surface—there is this instant, mesmerizing marble effect that happens when the paint starts to flow. It is a sensory, meditative way to bond with friends or colleagues, and every participant leaves with a finished 6x6 or 8x8 inch piece that they can actually take home.
I have set these stations up everywhere from the lobby at JW Marriott to small, intimate retreats across Bengaluru. I bring everything—the drop cloths to keep things clean, the aprons, the gloves, and the drying boxes so you do not have to worry about carrying wet paint home. You do not need any prior skill to make something beautiful, just a willingness to play with color and get your hands a little dirty.
