I created my Upholstery Sprays because I wanted a way to get rid of that damp, mouldy monsoon smell without using harsh chemicals. This video shows how easy it is to freshen up curtains and sofas. This is a quick look at my Upholstery Sprays, your solution for a fresh-smelling home. I formulated these as 80% water-based, non-toxic room fresheners because I believe home care should be safe for everyone, including children and pets. You can choose between the clean scent of Aloe Cactus or the crisp aroma of Fern & Eucalyptus.

These aren't your typical store-bought aerosols. I formulated these as 80% water-based mists because I wanted to neutralize odors on curtains, sofas, and car seats without risking the safety of my own cat or children. A light spritz is all you need to clear the air, and because they are non-toxic, you can use them worry-free around the whole family.
I started making these because I was tired of standard room sprays that left me worried about what my cat was breathing in. During the monsoon in Mumbai, everything from our sofa cushions to the curtains seems to hold onto damp, mouldy smells. I needed a fix that was effective, yet safe.
Why I keep it water-based
Traditional aerosols use harsh propellants that I never felt comfortable using in my own home. My sprays are different. They are 80% water-based, non-aerosol, and free from the industrial chemicals found in mass-market fresheners. Every batch is blended right here in my studio in Mulund West.
Find your scent
I’ve kept the range focused on two distinct profiles so you can choose what suits your space best:
- Aloe Cactus: This is your go-to for a clean, green, and hydrating vibe. It feels like opening a window to let fresh air in.
- Fern & Eucalyptus: If you prefer something earthy and crisp, this is it. It works perfectly for high-traffic areas like living rooms or even to remove stale odors from car interiors.
How to use
Just shake the bottle gently and spray on heavy fabrics like sofas, thick curtains, or car seats. Since it's a gentle, natural formula, it won't leave heavy residue behind. I personally test every formulation at home for months, making sure it’s safe for homes with pets and kids before it reaches yours. When you order, I pack it up using recycled materials, keeping the waste down as much as possible.
