Newborn Studio Session (5 to 15 Days Old)
Session Dynamics
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours of studio time allowing for feeding, settling, and sleep cycles.
- Safety: Temperature-controlled environment with sanitized props and expert handling for poses like froggy or womb.
- Family: Includes artistic portraits with parents and siblings. Studio fabrics available for mother's draping.
Styling & Wardrobe
- Themes: 2 to 4 setups (Potato sack, Bucket prop, Floral, or Nature).
- Clothing: Full access to curated newborn wardrobe (knit rompers, bonnets, headbands) and premium wraps. No parent purchases required.
- Props: Includes miniature beds, log hammocks, baskets, and faux fur rugs.
Deliverables
- Edits: 10 to 25 high-end retouched images (skin smoothing, blemish removal).
- Files: High-resolution digital copies via online gallery.
- Physical: Top-tier packages include hardbound photobooks or wall frames.
Milestone & Sitter Session (3 to 11 Months)
Scope & Age
- Target: Ideal for Tummy Time (3-4 months) or Sitter stage (6-9 months).
- Timing: 1 to 2 hours maximum to match the baby's attention span.
- Lighting: Indoor studio setup with professional lighting control.
Themes & Props
- Setups: 2 distinct creative themes such as Chef, Traditional/Festive, or Fruit Bath (milk bath with fresh citrus).
- Accessories: Wooden toys, crates, miniature furniture, and fresh flowers/fruits provided by the studio.
Styling
- Costumes: 2 outfit changes provided (Rompers, dresses, or traditional wear).
- Add-ons: Caps, headbands, and jewelry for themes included.
Deliverables
- Photos: 10 to 15 retouched high-resolution digital images.
- Family: Includes a mini-session for parent portraits with the baby.
First Birthday, Cake Smash & Bubble Bath
The 3-Part Flow
- Portraits: Starts with clean, formal solo or family photos.
- Smash: The main event involving the cake and messy play.
- Splash: Ends with a bubble bath session in a miniature tub for cleanup and photos.
Decor & Cake
- Themes: Elaborate custom setups (Jungle, Beach, Boho, etc.) with balloons, banners, and letters.
- Edibles: Fresh, baby-friendly smash cake provided by the studio to match the theme aesthetics.
Wardrobe
- Attire: Access to premium designer outfits including Tuxedos, Tulle dresses, and themed costumes.
- Changes: Up to 3 costume changes allowed throughout the session.
Deliverables
- Quantity: 20 to 35 fully edited high-resolution digital images.
- Style: Vibrant color correction to make the theme pop.

How I Capture Childhood
I’m here to freeze those blink-and-you-miss-it moments with your little ones. Every session is about real memories, whether it’s that tiny newborn yawn or a wild cake smash session. My approach? Make it fun, relaxed, and honest. Kids aren’t always in the mood for photos, and that’s okay - I work around their moods, never force a pose.
Milestones & Magic
- For newborn portrait photography, I recommend coming in when your baby is between 5 and 15 days old. That’s when they’re at their sleepiest, and we get those beautiful, curled-up shots.
- I absolutely love creative milestone sessions. From the first toothy grin at 5 months to a mini bathtub shoot with fruits at 9 months, each age has its own vibe.
- First birthday photoshoot is a big one. We start with simple portraits, then let loose with a messy cake smash session. Expect giggles, smears, and zero worries about the mess.
- For older kids, I focus on their personalities – silly faces, shy smiles, whatever feels real to them.
Studio, Props & Themes
All sessions happen in my studio where I can control the lighting and keep things safe. I’ve got loads of props, wraps, and outfits, so you don’t need to bring a thing. If you’re into boho, fairy tale, or something totally traditional (think Yashoda Maiyya vibes), we’ll make it happen. Family is always welcome - some of my favorite shots have everyone together, just being themselves.

Hey, Leepika here - I’m the eye behind Luxe Shutter. Bangalore is home, but I’m often in Bhubaneswar too. I get a kick out of capturing those fresh, new beginnings - that glow, the tiny smiles, all that anticipation.
