The Science of Glowing Skin: UV Light Therapy
I treat every skin concern differently. See how my complimentary UV Light Therapy boosts your facial results for that natural, healthy glow.
So aaj I want to explain the benefits of UV light, starting with blue light. This light has the shortest wavelength, working on the skin's upper layer to effectively target and eliminate acne-causing bacteria. It's a key part of my acne treatment facial.
Now for red light, which is magical for anti-aging. Its longer wavelength penetrates deeper to stimulate collagen production, which helps tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This is a vital step in my anti-aging facial treatments.
Let's talk about green and yellow light. I use green light therapy to target and cure hyperpigmentation and melasma deep within the skin. Yellow light works to brighten the skin and boost melanin production for a healthy, even tone.
Your skin concerns are unique, so your treatment should be too. Here, I explain how I can combine different UV lights, like blue and green for acne with pigmentation, to create a customized therapy session that addresses multiple issues at once.
Here is a client relaxing under the UV light machine during her Hydra Glass Skin Facial. This complimentary step enhances the facial's results by targeting her specific skin needs, ensuring a comprehensive and effective treatment.
About The Science of Glowing Skin: UV Light Therapy
I don't just put you under a light and walk away. During your session, I analyze your skin to decide whether you need blue light to kill acne bacteria, red for a collagen boost, or a custom green and yellow mix to tackle stubborn pigmentation. It is a targeted step added to every facial I perform to ensure you walk out with real results, not just a clean face.
How I Customize Your Light Therapy
Many people think UV light is just one thing, but it is actually a science. Depending on what your skin is going through, I change the settings on my machine to give you the most effective treatment.
-
Blue Light (Acne): If you are dealing with active breakouts, blue light is my go-to. It works on the skin's upper layer to target and kill acne-causing bacteria. I usually recommend a 20-minute session for the best effect.
-
Red Light (Anti-Aging): This is magical for collagen. It penetrates deeper than the blue light to tighten skin and reduce fine lines. If you want that firm, younger-looking skin, we use this.
-
Green Light (Pigmentation): This is essential for anyone struggling with stubborn melasma or sun damage. It reaches deep into the epidermis to help fade those dark spots that creams alone just cannot fix.
-
Yellow Light (Brightening): If your skin looks dull or you want an even tone, yellow light boosts melanin production and gives you that glow.
Why It Matters
I believe in results, which is why I don't follow a fixed, generic routine for everyone. If you come to my studio in DLF Phase 4, we sit down first. If you have acne and pigmentation, I might combine blue and green lights. If you are an older client focusing on firming, I will prioritize red and yellow.
This isn't a paid extra. I include this in all my facial packages because a proper skin treatment needs technology that goes deeper than just surface cleaning. Whether you choose my 10-step Hydra Facial or a gentle organic session, this step ensures your products absorb better and your skin stays healthier for longer.
