You might wonder how we get those peaceful, curled-up poses. It comes down to patience and professional handling—every session includes a trained assistant to ensure your baby’s safety and comfort while I focus on capturing the shot. We never rush the feed or the soothing, because a happy, relaxed baby is always the priority.
The sweet spot for these newborn photos is between 5 and 15 days after birth. During this window, your baby is usually in that deep, sleepy phase that allows us to safely guide them into those classic, curled-up poses without them fussing.
Working with Different Themes
Whether you want something inspired by Indian tradition, like a 'Kanha' setup, or a whimsical fairy-tale scene with a carriage, my studio in Yelahanka is equipped with props, wraps, and accessories to bring these visions to life. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all sessions. We take the time to style the scene, ensuring the colors and textures complement your baby's features rather than overwhelming them.
The Process
When you come to the studio, the pace is set by your baby. If they need to feed or just be held for a while, we take that time. The goal is to capture the tiny details—the eyelashes, the little fingers, and the yawns—that you will want to remember years from now. For those who prefer a more organic feel, I also offer sessions using a neutral palette of creams and soft whites, which keeps the focus entirely on the raw connection between the baby and the parents.
Planning Ahead
If your baby is older than 15 days, don't worry. We simply adjust our approach to include more awake shots or family-focused portraits, which are just as meaningful. For families in Bangalore or Bhubaneswar, I offer both studio sessions and home visits, ensuring you have a comfortable experience regardless of where we shoot.
