About A Look Behind the Scenes
Lots of people ask me if the writing on our kadas is just a print that will wash off after a few days. It is not. We use a precision laser machine to carve your design directly into the high-quality stainless steel, so that name, date, or hidden message stays on your accessory for a lifetime.
When you order a piece from us, you aren't getting something mass-produced. The process starts with your specific instruction, whether it is a date for an anniversary, a name in a specific font, or that secret message hidden on the inside of a kada.
Once you share your idea, I bring it into our design software and prepare it for the laser. You might have seen these machines in my videos; they focus a tiny beam of light that etches your design directly into the 316L stainless steel base. Because we are working with metal, this isn't like the plastic prints or stickers you see on cheap accessories. It is a permanent, physical etch.
For the Cartier-inspired designs or the simple silver and black kadas, the quality stays the same. The material is water-resistant, which means you can wear it in the shower or through your daily routine without worrying about it tarnishing or the text rubbing off. We finish every piece by giving it a quick polish to make sure the edges are smooth and comfortable against your skin. From there, it goes into our rigid gift box with a velvet foam insert, making it ready to be gifted the moment it arrives at your doorstep.
