About Maternity Portraits
I know planning a maternity shoot can be overwhelming, so I keep it simple. My studio in KR Puram comes fully equipped with a collection of gowns and drapes. You do not need to rush out and buy anything new, as we will pick something that makes you feel confident and comfortable, whether you want a classic studio look or something traditional.
Every pregnancy journey is different, and I try to reflect that in my photography. We can keep things simple and elegant with a studio session at my Skylark Arcadia space. This is perfect if you want those classic, fine-art portraits where we control the lighting and focus entirely on you and your baby bump. Many of my clients love the traditional saree shoots here, which celebrate cultural roots and create a truly timeless aesthetic.
If you prefer something more relaxed, we can head outdoors. I love shooting in Bangalore’s parks during golden hour. That soft, natural light does wonders for outdoor maternity portraits and adds a dreamy, ethereal feel to the final images. Whether you want to include your partner or older children, or even keep it as a solo celebration of this phase, the goal is to make it feel like you, not a stiff, posed event.
For those who want to turn these sessions into something physical, I also offer packages that include high-quality, flush-mount albums and framed wall art. It is one thing to have digital files on your phone, but there is something special about holding a printed album of your maternity journey years down the line.
