Tactical Animal Rescue Training for Professional Teams
We transform standard rope and climbing skills into life-saving protocols for professional rescue teams, focusing on safety, equipment mastery, and animal psychology.
This is what it's all about. I'm incredibly proud to partner with the SDRF and Karnataka Fire Department to make tactical animal rescue a core part of their official training. This video shows the start of a long-term program where we, along with the CARE Force Team, equip these dedicated professionals with the rope skills and safety protocols needed to save animals in distress. We're building a future where every rescue operation is safer and more effective for both the animals and the heroes saving them.
About Featured
Training for animal rescue is fundamentally different from human-centric disaster response. We don't just teach rope rigging; we teach you how to read a frightened animal's body language while you are suspended at height or managing a confined space. Our modules cover the critical safety protocols required to protect both the rescue team and the animal during high-stress situations.
When you are on a rescue mission, there is no room for guesswork. My program for the SDRF and Karnataka Fire Department is designed to bridge the gap between technical climbing skills and the chaotic reality of field operations. We focus on two primary tiers of engagement.
Ground Operations and Animal Psychology
This module covers the non-technical aspects of rescue. It is about control and assessment. We teach how to approach an animal in distress without escalating its panic, how to use catch poles effectively, and how to manage crowd dynamics to keep the perimeter safe. You will learn to identify escape routes and structural stability before the rescue begins.
High-Angle and Rope Rescue
This is where my climbing background takes over. We build on Single Rope Techniques (SRT) and twin rope systems to access hard-to-reach locations like wells, pits, or trees. We construct redundant anchors, teach mechanical advantage systems like 3:1 or 5:1 pulley setups, and ensure every participant understands suspension trauma risks.
The 'Aaram Se' Approach
We move slowly, aaram se, in our training. It is the only way to ensure the techniques stick. By the time we run simulation drills—whether it's a simulated tree rescue or a confined space entry—every participant has a firm grasp on the gear, from static ropes and descenders to bite-resistant PPE. Our partnership with the CARE Force Team ensures that every piece of tactical training is balanced with deep animal welfare knowledge. This isn't just a workshop; it's about integrating these skills into your standard operating procedures.
