My Journey and Advocacy for Ethical Legal Practice
I am a first-generation lawyer who built my practice from the ground up, fueled by the conviction that legal expertise is for justice, not sensationalism. This is my journey.
How can the public differentiate between a real advocate and a legal influencer? I discuss the Bar Council of India's guidelines against soliciting work and why I believe sensationalist content is lethal to our noble profession.
Attending an event for '100 Years of Women in Law'. While celebrating this milestone is important, real change requires an inclusive audience. When men and policymakers participate, it helps break stereotypes and promotes true equality in the legal field.
Another view from the '100 Years of Women in Law' panel discussion. It is vital that we create a legal environment where gender inclusivity is the norm, not the exception, to enhance respect and opportunity for everyone.
A powerful moment from the 'Women in Law' event. Seeing the trailblazers who paved the way reminds me of our collective responsibility to continue breaking barriers for the next generation of female advocates.
On the panel for the '(In)Visible' film launch, discussing the journey of women in the legal profession. It is an honor to share the stage with such inspiring women and contribute to this important conversation.
My belief system is simple: if there is a problem, there is a solution. I don't believe in the mental blocks society imposes on us. With willpower and the drive to change your situation, you can overcome any obstacle.
To me, success is being progressive and better than you were in the past. Challenges will always be there, but instead of focusing on the problem, I was taught to raise my own bar. Then the problem starts to look small.
About this collection
I often call out the rise of sensationalism and solicitation within the legal fraternity because our profession is noble, not an entertainment industry. True advocacy requires solid case strategy, not aggressive digital marketing, and I believe clients deserve lawyers who prioritize the law over shortcuts.
Building a practice from scratch without a godfather in the industry was my biggest challenge. Being a first-generation lawyer meant I had to learn every procedure, filing, and courtroom nuance the hard way. This experience defines how I work today. It is why I refuse to engage in the unethical solicitation of work that has become common among legal influencers.
My activism is not just talk. Whether it is engaging with the Bar Council regarding the Advocate Act of 1961 to ensure only qualified advocates represent clients, or pushing for safer committee environments for female advocates to report harassment, I believe in walking the talk. At events like '100 Years of Women in Law', I emphasize that real progress requires an inclusive audience where men and policymakers actively dismantle stereotypes rather than just attending panels.
When you hire me, you get someone who has lived these battles. My strategy is simple, because life has taught me that if there is a problem, there is a solution. I do not provide false hope. I break down complex procedures into understandable terms and ensure your case is built on a precise 'Prayer Clause' foundation. I fight for the underdog and the honest, ensuring that the legal system remains accessible to those who need it most.

I'm Pooja, and I don't follow the crowd. I became a lawyer on my own terms, fighting battles that the system often ignores. If you value straight talk and ethical representation over empty promises, you are in the right place.
