My mural process isn't about picking a design off a shelf; it's about the connection between the wall and the people who see it every day. Whether it is an indoor feature wall in your apartment or a high-traffic area in a cafe, I use heavy-body, professional-grade acrylics that are weather-resistant and vibrant. We start with a conversation to understand the story you want to tell, then I sketch a vision that flows with your space rather than just being placed on it.
Every mural I paint is a mix of intuition and technique. When we work together, I take into account the architectural features of your space—the corners, the lighting, and the texture of your wall, whether it is raw brick, concrete, or smooth plaster.
My Mural Process
- Discovery: We start with a discussion about your space. You tell me the vibe—is it a tribute to nature, an abstract representation of your journey, or something inspired by our Indian heritage? I listen to the story you want to tell first.
- Execution: I prefer an intuitive approach. I don't use strict templates, which means the final piece often has a life and energy that a computer-generated mock-up cannot replicate. I love working with the texture of the surface to make the art feel like it belongs to the room.
- Durability: I finish every mural with a double coat of non-yellowing, professional varnish to protect against UV rays and dust. This ensures your piece stays vibrant, whether it is in a sunny living room or a bustling commercial space.
