The Art of Detail: Adding Soul to Your Decor
Decor isn't just about the big structures. It's about the feeling you get when you notice the personalized cushion on a sofa or the fresh marigolds on a brass lamp. I believe true magic hides in these small, intentional moments.
A lush floral arrangement from our 'Regal Rustic Reverie' wedding. The combination of deep red roses, birds of paradise, and other exotic greens created a look that was both dramatic and incredibly elegant.
Traditional brass lamps and diyas adorned the steps leading to the 'Mantram' mandap. These small, sacred details were essential in creating a divine and soulful atmosphere for the ceremony.
For our 'Love & Illusion' Sangeet, we used clean, modern floral arrangements with white hydrangeas and roses to complement the monochrome theme. Sometimes, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
A close-up of a table centerpiece from our 'Haldi Holi' event. We even sprinkled some of the holi colors onto the flowers themselves, a fun little detail that tied everything together perfectly.
We used mini cacti, dried oranges, and cinnamon sticks in our 'Moroccan Nightfall' table styling. These small, textural details helped to create an authentic, sensory experience for the guests.
Adding the final touches to our 'Whispers of the Orient' decor. A pink paper fan and delicate white anthuriums provide the perfect oriental accent to this floral arrangement.
A personalized cushion with the couple's initials, paired with a custom block-printed throw. These bespoke details at the 'Mantram' wedding made the lounge area feel personal and welcoming.
It's all in the details. For the 'Sunny Side Up' Haldi, we styled the tables with books, crocheted hearts, and colorful candles to create a cozy and personal atmosphere.
Screaming colors and blooming flowers. Baskets of fresh rose petals and marigolds were placed around the 'Suryatva' Tilak ceremony for guests to shower the couple with blessings.
A lakeside table setting from the 'Sunny Sway Soirée'. The vibrant floral centerpieces and colorful candles popped against the serene water backdrop.
About The Art of Detail
My work goes beyond setting up a mandap. It's about the narrative we build through tangible elements, like the texture of a hand-printed throw or the scent of tuberose on a centerpiece. I focus on creating a cohesive mood where every small item, from table runners to custom signage, is chosen to reflect your story.
Often, couples focus on the grand entrance or the stage, but I have found that guests truly connect with the spaces they sit in and the little things they interact with. Whether it's a Rajasthani folklore theme with hand-blocked fabrics or a Mantram wedding featuring Sanskrit verses etched into structures, I ensure the decor tells a story.
As a certified floral designer, my approach to blooms is structural and intuitive. I don't just put flowers in a vase. I look for the right vessels—earthen pots, brass lamps, or rustic terracotta—to match the event's personality. For our Moroccan-themed evenings, we layer in cinnamon sticks, dried oranges, and mini cacti to engage your senses beyond just sight.
This extends to your seating lounges and dining areas. Think of soft-touch cushions with your initials, or chair drapes that catch the breeze by the water. These aren't filler items; they are the glue that holds the theme together. When we discuss your wedding, we will look at these tiny details to ensure your personality shines through every corner of the venue.
