About Navratri & Festival Specials
Forget confusing routines. In my workshops, I break down complex Garba and Dandiya moves into simple, rhythmic counts—one, two, three, four—that anyone can follow. Whether you are learning the graceful Dhanunchi or high-energy Dandiya for a society event, I make sure you leave the studio feeling like you own the dance floor, not frustrated by the steps.
Learn to Dance, Don't Just Move
Navratri isn't just about the music; it's about the energy of the circle. When I teach, I focus on 'BollyGarba'—a fusion of traditional Garba with modern Bollywood flair. It’s accessible, it’s fun, and it gets people of all ages moving together.
What to Expect in My Workshops
My workshops are designed for 3 to 7 days of intensive practice. We don't just teach the steps; we focus on group formations and coordination.
- Traditional Roots: We cover authentic Garba and Dandiya steps that respect the tradition while making them easy to learn.
- Dhanunchi Special: For Durga Pooja, I teach the traditional Dhanunchi dance. It’s graceful, it’s powerful, and I break it down so even absolute beginners can perform it smoothly.
- Community Vibes: I frequently host sessions in residential hubs like Mahagun Moderne and Assotech Windsor Court. The atmosphere is always lively because you are learning with your neighbors and friends.
Who Are These Classes For?
If you have two left feet, you are my favorite student. I have zero patience for 'I can't dance' excuses. My batches include everyone—women-only groups, mixed batches, and families. The goal is not to perform like a pro for a film shoot, but to enjoy the festival with your head held high and your feet in rhythm.
Format & Details
- Session Duration: 60 to 90 minutes daily during the workshop period.
