Creative and Conceptual Photography in Mumbai
Transform your wild ideas into reality. From experimental light trails to editorial-style looks, my studio in Ghansoli is the space to push your creative boundaries.
Another take from my long exposure series. I love how the motion blur creates a painterly effect, wrapping the model in warm, glowing light. This is perfect for an artistic or editorial shoot.
A serene moment from our Earth Day concept shoot. The focus here is on the texture of the mud mask and the peaceful expression, connecting with the theme of nature and wellness.
This shot captures a different angle, showing the application of the Ayurvedic clay. It's a great image for a skincare brand or a wellness-themed editorial.
After the mask, a moment of calm. This part of the shoot was about the benefits of the mud bath, so we focused on creating a relaxed and natural atmosphere.
A close-up showing the texture of the clay on the skin. This kind of detail shot is great for telling a story and for commercial beauty photography.
A wider shot to set the scene. The natural elements like the plants and the simple ceramic bowl help build the earthy, Ayurvedic concept.
Here I combined a slow shutter speed with colored gels to create this ghosting effect. It gives the portrait a surreal and futuristic feel, perfect for a creative portfolio.
A close-up using split-colored lighting. The warm orange and cool blue light on either side of the face creates a striking, high-fashion look.
More motion blur and light trails. This shot feels energetic and captures a fleeting moment, almost like a memory.
A full-body shot with the light trails creating a dynamic sweep across the image. This technique is all about experimenting and having fun in the studio.
About Creative & Conceptual Shoots
For any conceptual shoot, I start with a mood board session before we ever step into the studio. Whether you want editorial-style lighting with colored gels or specific textures like a mud bath theme, we plan the technical details—from the Godox lighting setup to the styling—so that our studio time is spent actually creating, not just figuring it out on the spot.
My studio in Ghansoli isn't just a workspace; it is a creative adda where we experiment with different styles. When you book a creative session with me, you are getting more than just a photographer. You are getting a creative partner who knows how to use modifiers like optical snoots, gobos, and colored gels to build an atmosphere from scratch.
How We Create Concepts
- Technical Precision: We use a full 3-point lighting setup with Godox DS400 II lights to ensure your concept looks crisp, whether it is a high-fashion look or an abstract art piece.
- Collaborative Energy: I work closely with talented MUAs and stylists to ensure the look matches the mood. If you have a specific vision, bring your props. We have worked on everything from long-exposure light trail photography to earthy, naturalistic mud-bath concepts.
- Studio Flexibility: With seamless paper backdrops in grey, white, black, and beige, plus access to unique props like macrame wall hangings and posing cubes, we can change the entire vibe of a shoot in minutes.
Whether you are an actor needing a standout portfolio, a brand wanting a unique lookbook, or someone who just wants a photo that tells a different kind of story, let's connect. I prefer keeping things real and authentic rather than over-editing every pixel. If you have a weird or wild idea, I am the guy to call.
