Session Details
- Duration: 60 to 90 minutes of dedicated studio time.
- Looks: 1 Costume Change (client provides outfit).
- Equipment: High-resolution shooting with Canon Professional Cameras.
- Lighting: Standard 3-point setup using Godox DS400 II lights and Softboxes.
Deliverables
- Raw Images: 30-50 JPEGs from the session shared digitally.
- Retouched Images: 3 High-End edited portraits including skin retouching, color correction, and blemish removal.
- Turnaround: Edited images delivered within 3-5 days.
Studio Facilities
- Prep Area: Use of Makeup Room with vanity mirrors and lighting.
- Backdrops: Choice of Seamless Paper (Grey, White, Black, Beige) or Textured Cloth.
- Amenities: Private changing area and sanitized washroom access.

Shooting Scope
- Duration: 4 to 5 Hours of studio occupancy.
- Looks: Up to 4 Costume Changes covering varied styles (High Fashion, Ethnic, Casual, Editorial).
- Creative Lighting: Usage of modifiers including Optical Snoot with Gobos, Color Gels, and Ring Light.
- Direction: Mood board discussion prior to shoot for concept alignment.
Team & Amenities
- Photographer: Session led by Senior Photographer.
- Makeup Station: Full access to air-conditioned makeup room with professional lighting.
- MUA Support: Coordination with makeup artists included (MUA fees payable separately).
- Props: Access to Macrame wall hangings, wooden stools, posing cubes, and reflective mylar sheets.
Post-Production
- Selection: 150+ Raw images captured.
- Edits: 10 to 12 professionally retouched images with high-end skin finish.
- Social Media Kit: 1 short Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) reel video shot on phone.

Commercial Production
- Duration: Full Day Block (8 Hours).

- Lighting: Uniform Catalog Style for color accuracy or mood shots with colored backgrounds.

- Garment Care: Access to garment steamer and clothing racks.
- Support: 1 Light Assistant included to manage equipment and set handling.

For me, photography isn’t just about clicking a button—it’s about catching those bits of life you don’t want to forget. My studio in Mumbai isn’t just a workspace, it’s more like adda (hangout) where ideas flow. Sometimes we go for a moody black background, sometimes pure white or even loud purple. Got a boho mood? We can do that too with props and all.
What I Do Best
- Portrait & fashion shoots for models, actors, brands, or anyone wanting stunning photos.
- Model portfolio shoot with different looks: western, traditional, even swimwear. We’ll get headshots, mid-shots, and full-body snaps.
- Creative concept shoot—bring your wildest ideas. I’ve tried everything from long exposure for funky light trails to using coloured gels for editorial-style portraits.
- Professional headshots for actors or corporate profiles—clean, expressive, and no-nonsense.
- Worked with brands for beauty brand photography, lookbooks, product shots, and social media.
My Approach
It’s always teamwork here. I’ve got pro MUAs for makeup and hair, and I handle all the creative direction. I shoot with Canon cams and Godox lights to get everything crisp and polished, but I’m not a stickler for over-editing. High-end retouching is there if you need it, but I prefer keeping it real.

Hey, I’m Balkrushna—most folks call me Krrish. Photography for me? It’s pure love, yaar. I started Mumbai Portraits Studio to build a creative parivar (family), not just a business. My city is my muse—sometimes it’s glitzy, sometimes it’s all tradition, like Diwali ka dhamaka (Diwali blast). At heart, I’m just a guy chasing stories, camera in hand, finding beauty in people.
