Our Landscaping & Garden Process: From Plan to Plant
A beautiful garden isn't just about the plants. It starts with the right design, proper ground preparation, and reliable systems. See how we turn your space into a green reality, step by step.
This video shows a site before we started our work. It's a bare, undeveloped piece of land, the blank canvas we love to transform.
This is the start of a project in Gurugram. We are installing drainage cells in a large concrete planter. This is a crucial first step to ensure proper water drainage and prevent root rot.
Here you can see the drainage cell system being laid out over a large area. This lightweight and strong material creates a void for water to drain, which is essential for rooftop and podium gardens.
After the drainage cells, we lay down a geotextile filter fabric. This white sheet prevents soil from clogging the drainage system while allowing water to pass through freely.
The geotextile fabric is now covering the entire planter area. The space is now waterproofed, drained, and ready for the next layers of soil and plants.
This is a 3D design render we created for a client. It helps them visualize the final garden, including the layout of the lawn, pathways, seating, and even the types of trees.
A different angle of the 3D garden design, showing the lighting plan for the pathway and the placement of benches.
Another perspective from the 3D model, giving a complete overview of the proposed landscape design before we begin any physical work.
A 2D planting plan, where we map out the exact location for different types of flowers and plants like Dahlia, Salvia, and Marigold to create a structured and colorful garden bed.

About How We Work: From Plan to Plant
Before you commit to a landscaping design, you should know what happens under the surface. We focus heavily on the foundation, like installing proper drainage cells and geotextile layers, which most people skip but are essential to stop root rot and waterlogging. Take a look at our process, from our 3D design plans to the site prep, so you know exactly how we build a garden that lasts.
We don't believe in guessing when it comes to your garden. Our work follows a clear, tested process designed to ensure your green space thrives long after we finish.
1. Planning and Visualization
Everything starts with a plan. Whether it is a small balcony or a large commercial campus, we don't start digging until we have a vision. We create 2D and 3D designs that allow you to see where the grass, pathways, and seating areas will sit. This is where we discuss your preferences, lighting needs, and maintenance expectations.
2. The Invisible Foundation
The most critical part of landscaping is the work you don't see. We pay strict attention to site preparation:
- Drainage Systems: We install drainage cells and geotextile filters, especially in terrace gardens and concrete planters. This prevents waterlogging, which is the number one killer of potted plants and rooftop greenery.
- Soil Grading: For ground-level gardens, we level the soil to ensure proper water runoff. We mix cow dung manure and river sand to create a fertile base that retains the right amount of moisture.
3. Execution
Once the prep is done, we move to the installation. This includes:
- Planting: We use healthy, nursery-grown shrubs, hedges, and trees. We follow a planting plan to ensure taller plants don't block the light for smaller varieties.
- Hardscaping: We install pathways, deck tiles, and lighting fixtures, ensuring everything is level and durable.
- Irrigation: For larger projects, we set up automated drip irrigation. This ensures your plants get exactly the water they need, even when you are busy.
We document every stage of our work because we want you to be confident that your garden is built to last. If you have questions about what your specific site needs, reach out and we can walk you through the possibilities.
