Real-world survival is not a sport. Here is how I teach you to neutralize common street threats like chokes, grabs, and strikes when you have nothing but your hands.

A front choke is a common and dangerous attack. This video demonstrates a simple and effective Krav Maga technique to release the choke, create space, and counterattack to neutralize the threat immediately.

An attacker may try to choke you from behind to maintain control. I teach you how to use your body weight and leverage to break the hold, turn into the attacker, and follow up with decisive counter-strikes.

A side headlock can leave you vulnerable. This drill shows how to defend against it by attacking the opponent's weak points, breaking their posture, and escaping the hold before it can escalate.

Here I am explaining the details of a headlock defense. The key is to address the immediate danger, which is the choke, while simultaneously creating an opportunity to counterattack.

A straight punch or jab is a fast, common strike. This video shows a 360-degree defense where you block the punch and simultaneously counterattack, redirecting the opponent's force and ending the confrontation.

A roundhouse punch comes from the side with a lot of power. This drill demonstrates how to defend against it by moving in, blocking the strike close to the source, and delivering multiple counter-strikes to overwhelm the attacker.

This is another variation of a defense against a round punch. The principle remains the same: intercept the attack, disrupt the attacker's balance, and respond with overwhelming force.

A kick to the groin or stomach can be debilitating. I teach a simple, instinctual defense that involves redirecting the kick while simultaneously moving forward to counterattack before the opponent can launch a second strike.

The open-hand strike is a versatile and safe tool in Krav Maga. It reduces the risk of injuring your own hand and allows for precise targeting of an attacker's vulnerable points like the eyes, throat, or nose.

An elbow strike is one of the most powerful tools for close-quarter combat. Here, I am explaining the proper body mechanics to generate maximum force, even in tight spaces like an elevator or a crowd.

About Unarmed Combat: Defending Against Common Attacks

A fair fight is a fight you lose. My training does not teach you to wait for a referee's whistle or follow tournament rules, because real-life attackers never wait for your permission. Whether you are facing a choke in a crowded space or a punch at a bus stop, you need to neutralize the threat within seconds. I focus on targeting pressure points and creating immediate space—not by being the strongest person in the room, but by being the fastest to react.
