Practical Self-Defense Training in South Delhi
See how we break down real-world threats. From gun defense to close-quarter combat, this is not a sport—it is survival training designed for Delhi streets.
This is a real-world knife defense demonstration. In a street situation, an attacker won't follow rules. I teach you how to react instinctively, close the distance, control the weapon, and neutralize the threat in seconds.
A gun to your back is a worst-case scenario, and I train you for it. This image shows a gun defense drill, focusing on how to turn, redirect the weapon away from your body, and gain control when you have no other choice.
Not all fights happen at a distance. I am explaining how to adapt your strikes based on the range of the conflict, from using kicks at a distance to employing powerful elbow and knee strikes in close-quarter battles like in a crowded bus or lift.
Here, I am demonstrating a ground defense technique to a women's self-defense workshop. Learning how to defend yourself when you are on the ground is a critical survival skill that I teach to all my students, regardless of their size or strength.
I was honored to be featured in The Morning Standard for my work in teaching practical combat skills. This article highlights why Krav Maga is one of the most effective systems for real street fight situations.
In this interview with India Today, I explain what makes Krav Maga different from traditional martial arts. It is a combat system, not a sport, developed by the Israeli Defense Forces for survival, and that is exactly how I teach it.
This gives you a glimpse into my intensive Krav Maga crash course. It is a fast-track program designed to build your skills systematically through high-intensity drills, covering everything from basic techniques to advanced weapon defense.
About this collection
My training happens in a real, no-frills environment. We train in a non-AC basement dojo because real fights do not happen in climate-controlled gyms. Whether you are learning to handle a knife threat or a chokehold, you will be training in conditions that mirror the street, not a studio. This is not for show; it is about building the muscle memory you need when you have no other choice.
Why This Is Not A Sport
Krav Maga is often mistaken for a martial art, but there is a major difference. Martial arts come with rules, referees, and points. In a real-world scenario—whether you are in a crowded metro or walking home late—there are no rules. My job is to teach you how to neutralize a threat as quickly as possible. We focus on the most vulnerable points of an attacker, using natural reactions rather than memorizing complex, flashy kata sequences.
The 10-Day Crash Course
If you want to move beyond the basics, my intensive 10-day crash course is the standard. We compress 60 hours of training into ten days to build your reaction speed.
- Level 1 (Warrior 1-3): Building solid foundation and basic escapes.
- Level 2 (Warrior 4-6): Elevating your response to weapons and aggressive attackers.
- Level 3 (Warrior 7+): Advanced scenarios and combat.
We train from 10 AM to 5 PM daily. This is not a hobby class; it is vocational-style training. By the end of this, you will have the certifications to prove your progress, but more importantly, you will have the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what to do when things go wrong.
Training for Delhi Conditions
We train in Chittaranjan Park, Delhi, in a setup that intentionally mimics high-stress environments. You will learn to handle multiple attackers, weapon disarms (knives and firearms), and close-quarter battles in tight spaces. You do not need to be an athlete to start. I work with everyone from corporate professionals to local residents, focusing on technique and mindset over raw muscle. If you are ready to stop freezing and start protecting yourself, this is where you begin.
Kaustav Sehgal
I’m Kaustav Sehgal. I do not teach you to win trophies; I teach you to walk home safe. My training is simple—I strip away the tradition and focus on survival, whether you are facing a knife or just need to handle yourself in a crowded space.
