Real-World Self-Defense & Grappling Training
I teach martial arts for the street, not just the mat. From high-intensity grappling to personalized self-defense for your kids, these are the fundamentals I use to keep you safe and strong.
This is what I mean by practical self-defense. Here, I'm showing a standing armbar against a wall, a common scenario in a real confrontation. It's not about fancy moves, it's about using leverage to control the situation and create an escape.
I offer at-home self-defense training for kids. In this session, we are working on ground control and escapes. My goal is to make your child confident and capable, teaching them real skills in a safe, familiar environment.
A good defense is the best offense. This video breaks down a counter to a single leg takedown, turning your opponent's attack into a key lock submission or a dominant side control position for you. We drill these basics until they are instinct.
This is a typical No-Gi grappling session, focusing on defending a single leg takedown and transitioning straight into an armbar. Without the Gi, the fight is faster and relies purely on body mechanics and control.
People always ask about street fights versus MMA. They are not the same. A street fight has no rules, no referee, and often involves multiple opponents or weapons. My training prepares you for that reality, not for a sport.
When training with the Gi, the uniform itself becomes a weapon. Here, we are drilling a sweep to reverse the position, followed by an immediate armbar using the opponent's lapel and sleeve for control.
Being a certified referee for organizations like AJP gives me a deep understanding of the sport from all angles. Here I am officiating a youth grappling match. This experience helps me train my students with a complete perspective.
This is what a good training session looks like. After working on MMA and BJJ fundamentals, there's a sense of accomplishment. I provide personalized one-on-one coaching to help you or your kids build real skill and discipline.
About Featured
Stop wasting time on workouts that only give you a temporary pump. My training is about developing functional strength and reaction times that actually matter. Whether we are in the gym at Sainik Farm or I am at your place for a private session, we drill the same high-percentage moves until they are second nature—because in a real fight, your brain shuts down and your muscle memory takes over.
Training for Reality
Street fights are messy. There are no referees, no rules, and no points. Most people who rely on gym-only fitness or flashy kicks get overwhelmed the moment they hit the ground. My system is built on BJJ and grappling because that is where the fight ends up. We don't focus on aesthetics; we focus on control, takedowns, and submissions that work regardless of your size.
My Approach
- No Ego: If you want to get better, you have to be willing to tap out. We create an environment where you can fail safely so you don't fail when it counts.
- Fundamentals: We repeat the basics—takedown defense, hip escapes, and chokes—until you can perform them without thinking.
- Functional Strength: We lift heavy and use compound movements. If you can't move your own body weight efficiently, you aren't ready for a real confrontation.
What I Offer
- Crosstrain Group Classes: Held at our Sainik Farm facility. This is high-intensity, pressure-tested training against resisting opponents.
- 1-on-1 Private Sessions: Whether you need to refine your biomechanics or want a private environment, I conduct sessions at the gym or travel to your home in New Delhi.
- Kids Self-Defense: I bring the training to you. We focus on building confidence and practical, age-appropriate safety skills in a friendly, home-based environment.
Discipline is the only thing that separates the winners from the ones who get hurt. Motivation will fade, but showing up and doing the work is what makes you tough.
